Versatility combined with quality and productivity. Väderstad Rexius is a heavy universal roller with a wide range of uses. The machine can be used with Crossboard for levelling and preparing a seedbed or as an ordinary roller after drilling. Hook it behind a cultivator for efficient consolidation in one pass. Available in working widths of 5 to 12.3m and with a variety of ring type options, there is a Rexius roller to suit every situation.

The Rexius rollers and toolbars have been developed with the Rapid tillage concept in mind and versatility available within this range will virtually suit all of your requirements.

Unrivalled for Quality
The basic frame is constructed from heavy rectangular profile steel with dimensions of 200x100x6mm and with a high quality. The rigidity is impressive and imparts great stability on the overall construction. The entire frame is welded to avoid having loose bolt connections exposed to the wear that can occur during high speed work.

Economical and Biological Advantages
The Rexius roller is complimentary to most other implements. This provides a greater level of intensity and productivity with every pass across the field, creating extensive savings of time and energy while also reducing traffic. The reduction of passes from the time of harvesting through to establishing a new crop is biologically and economically advantageous. Working Zones

Crossboard

Crossboard, when fitted to Rexius, transforms the machine into a superior soil preparation system of the highest calibre available. The tines are controlled from the tractor cab and are capable of carrying and crushing huge volumes of heavy, cloddy soil. To further enhance the cultivating and crushing effect of the Crossboard, it can be fitted with sharp, hardened steel blades called single-knife. The crust-breaking blades break through the surface pans that readily develop on silty soils after heavy rain. Crossboard can be locked together with a stabilising rod for cultivation and levelling in extremely hard conditions. back to top
Consolidation - Ring Types Rexius is available with the option of four different types of consolidation unit or press ring. Each of the options allow for slightly different operation of the machine, but all result in a well consolidated seedbed. The rings are constructed from the highest quality materials, ensuring a long and efficient working life. back to top
Steel The hardened steel rings firm the heaviest clods and have an aggressive profile, which works the straw and forces it into the surface layer to ensure optimal decomposition rate. back to top
Crosskill Crosskill rings are very popular because they do not only have the same properties as the Cambridge rings, but they also possess a range of additional characteristics such as: they leave a loose and crust-resistant surface, they crush clods efficiently, they are less likely to become clogged with wet soil and they ‘swallow’ light soils much better without leaving a fluffy seedbed. back to top
Cambridge The conventional Cambridge rings are best utilised when Rexius is mostly working as a traditional roller i.e. after drilling for pressing down stones and clods etc. back to top
Heavy Duty During autumn cultivations an heavy duty ring is more suitable on heavy soils when a high degree of consolidation is required. Heavy duty rings are widely used throughout Europe. back to top
Hot spots Folding To change between transport and the field work position is strikingly simple and can be effected without the driver having to leave the tractor cab. The transport locks on the rollers are automatically engaged and released during folding and unfolding. The 2.5m transport width allows very safe road transport. The locks open automatically when the central section of the roller is lowered. During transport, when the central section is raised, the locks engage and prevent accidental unfolding of the roller during reversing. When in transport position the machine is carried securely on either single or double (depending on model) 400x15.5 wheels, providing a very stable ride over all terrain. back to top
Rubber Suspension The maintenance-free and practically indestructible rubber suspension absorbs impacts and collisions, which markedly increases the lifetime of bearings, rings and the frame of the entire machine. It is also one of the secrets behind Väderstad’s renowned resistance to stones. Rubber suspension is used on the packer gang bearings in order to reduce vibration and shock loads, prolonging the lifetime of all components of the machine. The bearings are designed and manufactured for long life under tough conditions. They have multiple seals and can be easily lubricated for long life in dusty and demanding environments. The roller axle, which is 55mm in diameter, is manufactured from micro-alloyed steel of very high quality. back to top
