Lactating Dairy

Lactating Dairy Cows :

Spring and Autumn

Cattle need magnesium to reduce the risk of hypomagnesaemia (grass staggers or grass tetany) but magnesium salts are bitter and not readily taken by cattle. Cattle High-Mag however provides a highly palatable form of magnesium readily consumed even by grazing cattle in spring and the high digestibility and availability confirmed by Glasgow Veterinary School ensures the risk of hypomagnesaemia can be significantly reduced by feeding Cattle High-Mag.

Available in 80kg Tublyx, 40kg Midi-tubs and 22.5kg Mini-tubs

Lactating Dairy Cows :

Winter and Summer

Crystalyx should be fed to dairy cows in summer or winter as it provides an energy source valued at ME=13.0 MJ/kgDM which is higher than the best quality grass. It is a feed which, combined with grazing grass or winter forages, is capable of producing milk up to reasonable levels of output. Beyond these concentrate feeding is essential.
