Bovikalc Calcium Boluses for Cattle

Description A wax coated bolus containing a large supply (43g) of calcium. Bovikalc is designed for use in cows just prior to, or just after calving. Bovikalc helps farmers manage the calcium status of their herd over the calving period. | Technology Bovikalc boluses are designed to dissolve in the rumen within 20 minutes. Calcium is then released in two forms, calcium chloride and calcium sulphate and this calcium is available to the animal for a period of 36 hours.
Composition
Administration regime 1 - Pre and post calving regime: First bolus – Administer one bolus per animal at the first sign of calving. Second bolus – Follow up with a second bolus 12-15 hours later if necessary. On-farm recommendation - 'If she's got cold ears, she needs another bolus' Administration regime 2 - Post calving regime: First bolus – Administer 1 bolus immediately after calving (or after sub-cutaneous calcium injection). Second bolus – Follow up with a second bolus 12-15 hours later if necessary. On-farm recommendation - 'If she's got cold ears, she needs another bolus' When to use * Bovikalc*
